Cast Glass
Handcrafted original designs made using the lost wax method.
I like the way the light plays with solid glass. Creating 3D pieces in a weighty yet translucent medium has been an intriguing challenge. The contrast between delicate and chunky makes these pieces something to treasure.

Snapper Jaws
Custom made for a keen fisherman from his prized catch. Mounted on Paradise Quarry rock to make an ideal trophy piece. I never realised snapper had so many teeth, making this a very fiddly and delicate process.

The idea of these is to choose your set and rearrange them frequently.

Birds nest
My children excitedly bring me treasures they know I will love, this nest was one of those treasures. It is a tiny wee nest probably from a fantail.
1 of 2. I was only able to get two waxes from this nest before it was destroyed in the process.

This piece was inspired during dusk and dawn when the mountains are turned into silhouettes and all you can see is one line behind another
